We’ll kick off with a full fly-on-the-wall newborn session where you’ll see exactly how I prep, pose, and flow through sets in real time. After lunch, we’ll dive into editing, business strategy, and what’s actually working for photographers in 2025. You’ll get my full workflow, favorite tools, and a front-row seat to how I keep my turnaround times fast and my sessions consistent.
In the evening, we’ll start with headshots, then head outside for content creating, location scouting, and a golden hour family session. You’ll get the chance to shoot alongside me, ask questions, and capture photos for your own portfolio. And because I limit these to just 10 photographers, you won’t be lost in the shuffle. You’ll leave with new images, new confidence, and the clarity to take your work—and your business—to the next level.

Head to Texas this July and join other photographers, vendors and educators for three days full of learning, lectures, demos, shoot-outs and FUN! Last year I was an instructor at the first ever Maternity + Newborn Photographer's Summit and loved meeting so many new people...both in the classes I taught and during the downtime and the epic last night party!
This year, I'm teaching three classes:
1. Womb Intensive - a Fly-On-the-Wall style class where we go over my favorite pose, the Womb pose (aka Taco Pose), how to transition to it from Timber, how to style it for 2025 vibes and how to transition to tummy time.
2. Macro - in this small group (limited to 20) each student will get a chance to take their own macro after we cover the posing, lighting and camera settings to add macros to every newborn gallery!
3. Outdoor Shoot Out - on the last day of the retreat, we'll head outside for a shoot out that covers lighting for ALL types (mid-day, cloudy and sunset), angles, setting and then a posing flow! You'll be able to watch -- and shoot -- during this 90 minute long class!

I am so excited to host our very first Collective Retreat this August in my little hometown of Brookville! Think of it as part girls’ weekend, part photography deep dive, and all-around creative reset. Ten amazing Collective members. One cozy, content-packed weekend. Let’s gooo.
I’ve lined up some seriously fun stuff—photoshoots, porch hangs, riverside fossil hunting (yep, for real), and tons of time to connect, talk business, and just breathe. Your food and lodging are covered, so all you have to do is get yourself to Brookville and I’ll take care of the rest.
