This is one I’ve been sooooo excited to release in here from the moment we shot it! As the photography industry shifts, we are seeing more and more clients lean into the home documentary style of images. Having a good grip on how to work with light and create a narrative that feels authentic instead of forced will keep you from becoming stagnant in your growing business.
In this video We start by scouting the best spots in the house, seeking out pockets of dreamy natural light that will enhance the mood and create stunning, ethereal images. Following the style of true storytelling you’ll see how I guide my client through a series of prompts, encouraging them to relax and simply be themselves while also keeping an intentional look to these images.
As the session unfolds, I demonstrate how to play with light and shadow, using the home's unique features to create depth and dimension in the images. We experiment with different angles and compositions, always keeping the focus on telling a story that is true to my client's journey into parenthood.
By the end of the session, we've created a collection of images that not only document this special time in my client's life but also serve as a beautiful reminder of the love and joy that fills their home. It's moments like these that remind me why I love what I do and I hope this teaching will spark a love for these sessions in you as well!

Posing was another stress. Then she starting doing the deconstruction series and everything just made sense! And lastly her unsoothing method..game changer... would panic if baby wouldn't settle..now I get excited lol I love what I do again. I'm confident in myself now. I don't get stressed
